札幌で初雪が観測される

The city of Sapporo and some other parts in Hokkaido observed the first snowfall of the season Tuesday, the Sapporo District Meteorological Observatory said. The snowfall in Sapporo came eight days later than the average year and two days later than last year, according to the observatory.

The snow started to fall at around 6:30 a.m. in Sapporo as cold air, equivalent to the air usually observed in late December, was above the city, it said. In Hokkaido, the first snow was also observed in Hakodate and Urakawa, it added.

札幌管区気象台によると，火曜日，北海道では，札幌市などでこの冬の初雪が観測された．この初雪は平年よりも八日遅く，昨年よりも二日遅いとのことである．

札幌での降雪は，市上空の，通常12月下旬に観測されるような寒気に伴い，朝6:30ごろから始まった．また函館，浦河でも初雪が観測された．
